This gorgeous antique Karajeh Serapi Heriz Persian has such a striking tribal medallion motif and a classic color palette. Ivory, indigo, and sage pop against a red field. This one of a kind piece of art was hand knotted around the 1880's and dyed with natural vegetable dyes. It is made to last generations and only gets better with age. Tulah has dense, medium pile and a sturdy hand...perfect for high traffic areas such as a hallway. There is some old moth damage on this one resulting in lower pile/threadbare area. The perfect rug for your entryway or kitchen sink!

Due to the vintage/antique nature of our rugs, there may be imperfections and signs of wear. This character is what I appreciate about a time worn rug and hope you will too. Colours may vary based on your screen or home lighting. I try to photograph each rug as accurately as possible in daylight, but please be aware that they will look different in low light. I’m always happy to send photos in lower lighting upon request.
