// Meet Selma //
This happy 1930’s Persian Karache has such an amazing color palette with shades of coral pink, deep charcoal (with brown undertones), and cobalt blue in a gorgeous ombré tribal pattern. This one of a kind piece of art was hand knotted and dyed with natural vegetable dyes. It is made to last generations and only gets better with age. Selma features low wool pile on a cotton foundation and short fringe. She has heavy wear with a sturdy construction, some old repairs, a slightly irregular (curved) shape, and so much charm. The perfect rug for your bohemian bedroom, hallway, or kitchen sink!
Due to the vintage/antique nature of our rugs, there may be imperfections and signs of wear. This character is what I appreciate about a time worn rug and hope you will too. Colours may vary based on your screen or home lighting. I try to photograph each rug as accurately as possible in daylight, but please be aware that they will look different in low light. I’m always happy to send photos in lower lighting upon request.
Please note, Petrichor Vintage Co. is not accepting returns on this item.
